On Saturday the 30th of November we joined our friends at Boyd’s of Bedford for their Winter Blast. A fantastic event that celebrates independent businesses from all over. We were joined by Dirty Twins, Oily Rag, Skin and Bone Jewellery, Stiched Up Banners and of course, Boyd's themselves, to name a few.
What a fab day Steve and Josh had at the Boyd’s Winter Blast. The atmosphere was kept hyped up with some awesome bands and all the buzz around the independent traders that were there. The Winter Blast is a great time for us to catch up and hang out with our friends from the bike scene that we may not have seen since the Summer. For the show, we took products from John Doe, Pike Brothers and Carhartt along and obviously there was such a good response to the super cool Carhartt. It’s very popular in the chopper scene! The event was held at the fantastic historic venue, the Rushden Transport Museum in Northamptonshire. This definitely added to the cool vibes. Great price to attend as a punter, at around £5 (plus booking fee) in advance, £7 on the door if there were any left. This was Boyd’s final send off before closing their doors, but we sincerely hope to see them again really soon. Well done to all involved!
If you want to see what it was all about, we were featured in this video below, filmed by Tom himself.
The jacket fits well, but had to go up to the next size. You would need to try these jackets on to get the correct size. Love the colour, nice and cool for the summer.
Don’t waste your money on one of these. The visor mechanism is flimsy, nasty to use and badly designed. I bought mine and straight away the visor was faulty. When I pushed it up it got stuck and when I eventually pulled it down the peak fastener had scratched the visor. Visor changing is simply too much of an effort. It’s hit and miss. You will damage the mechanism. I’ll never buy and LS2 lid again.
