The Biker Company aims to supply high quality products that arrive fault free and in perfect condition. Occasionally, returns may be necessary, and the following policy explains how we handle them.
1. Returning Goods
All returns must be clearly marked as Returned Goods on the outside of the parcel.
Returned items must be in their original condition, with all original packaging, documentation, tags and labelling intact. You are responsible for the condition of the goods until they reach us. If items are returned damaged, worn, or in a condition that reduces their value, we may apply a deduction to the refund to reflect this.
Product packaging does not need to be unopened but must be in a reasonable, resalable condition. Excessively damaged packaging that requires re-packaging may incur an additional charge.
2. Online Orders, Change of Mind or Incorrect Item Ordered
If you have ordered the wrong item or changed your mind, you have a statutory right to return unwanted goods purchased online within 14 calendar days of receiving your order.
To exercise this right, you must notify us by email at sales@thebikercompany.co.uk within 14 days of delivery. Goods must then be returned to us within 14 days of notifying us of your intention to return.

Return shipping costs for unwanted or change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. This includes returns due to incorrect sizing or fit.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable on unwanted returns where a delivery charge was applied.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method and issued no later than:
- 14 days after we receive the returned goods
- 14 days after you provide evidence that the goods have been returned
- 14 days after you notify us of cancellation, if no goods were supplied
3. Extended Returns Periods
From time to time, we may offer extended returns periods, for example during the Christmas period. These will be clearly advertised on our website at the time of purchase.
Orders placed during our Christmas promotional period may be returned up until 14 January, unless otherwise stated. Normal returns conditions apply and return postage remains the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
4. Exclusions from Returns
We cannot accept returns for:
- Goods made to your specifications or personalised items
- Sealed goods for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed
- Items that show signs of use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, as you would in a shop
Opening delivery packaging does not affect your right to return. Opening or damaging the product packaging itself may affect eligibility for return.
5. In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in store are subject to a different returns policy.
Items bought in store may be returned or exchanged for a credit note only, not a refund, provided they are:
- Unused and in original condition
- Returned within 7 days of purchase
- Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase
Credit notes are non-refundable and may be used against future purchases.
6. Incorrect Items Supplied
If you receive an item that does not match your order, please contact us at sales@thebikercompany.co.uk within 7 calendar days of delivery.
You will be offered a replacement, subject to availability, or a full refund. Refunds will include standard delivery charges. Enhanced delivery options and gift-wrapping charges are non-refundable.
7. Goods Damaged in Transit
If goods arrive damaged and the damage is visible on delivery, please note this with the carrier where possible and contact us within 7 calendar days.
We may request photographs to assist with assessment. You will be offered a replacement or a refund, including standard delivery charges.
8. Faulty Goods on Arrival
If goods are faulty upon delivery, please contact us within 7 calendar days. Where possible, photographs of the fault will assist us.
You will be offered a replacement or a refund. Refunds will be issued within 14 days and no later than 30 calendar days after receipt of the returned goods or proof of postage.
9. Faults Developing After Delivery
If a fault develops within 21 calendar days of delivery, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement but not a refund.
All returned items will be inspected. If the fault is not the result of misuse, accidental damage or normal wear and tear, we will arrange a repair or replacement at no additional cost.
10. Motorcycle Helmet Returns Policy
Due to safety and hygiene requirements, motorcycle helmets are subject to additional return conditions.
In-Store Helmet Purchases
Helmets purchased in store may be exchanged for a credit note or alternative helmet only, not a refund, provided they are returned within 7 days of purchase and accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.
Returned helmets must comply with the Helmet Return Conditions shown bellow.
Online Helmet Purchases
Helmets purchased online may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided all standard online returns conditions are met.
Helmets that show signs of use, road wear, damage, or alteration cannot be accepted for return and must comply with the Helmet Return Conditions shown bellow.
Faulty Helmets
Helmets with a proven manufacturer fault may be returned for a refund or exchange within 21 days of delivery providing they comply with the Helmet Return Conditions shown bellow.
After 21 days, any issues will be handled as a warranty claim and are not eligible for an immediate refund.
Helmet Return Conditions (In-Store & Online)
For a helmet to be eligible for return or exchange, it must:
- Not have been worn on the road
- Be returned in original, unused condition
- Include the original box
- Include the helmet bag
- Include the manual and all supplied accessories
- Have the visor sticker still attached
- Have the Pinlock not fitted, unless it was factory fitted
Helmets returned incomplete, altered, or showing signs of use cannot be accepted.
Helmet Fit & Home Trial
When purchasing a helmet in store, customers may try the helmet on at home for up to 7 days to ensure correct fit.
During this period, the helmet must not be worn on the road, altered, or used beyond careful indoor fitting. Any signs of use will invalidate eligibility for return or exchange. The helmet must comply with our Helmet Return Conditions shown above.
